500 RYT & Nutrition Coach
A mother above all else, Vivienne has been involved in the health and fitness industry for 12 years from nutritional therapy to group fitness classes. She has dedicated her life to helping others achieve optimal health. She is a 500 RYT, trauma sensitive yoga teacher, Mindful-Based Stress Reduction Teacher and obtained her formal study’s at University of Miami.
10 years ago she discovered yoga and its healing effects after practicing Buddhist meditation for many years. After being introduced to yoga asanas (poses), adding asanas into her daily meditation practice deepened her understanding of the connection between the body, mind and spirit and allowed her to sit more quietly in meditation. The ancient practices of Yoga has resonated with her and her path of healing her own body and mind and in returned allowed her to incorporate mindfulness into her teachings and nutritional coaching.
Through yoga, meditation and her studies of the 8 Limbs of Yoga, Karma Yoga and Sanskrit, Vivienne continues to discover the freedom this practice has to offer and it only made sense to want to share the benefits of yoga with others in a mindful, safe and loving way.
She is passionate about making yoga accessible to all, no matter gender, body or experiences. She believes yoga has something to offer everyone. Her efforts are focused on helping those suffering with postpartum disorders, trauma and addiction so those suffering may gain tools to help them along their path of healing.
In 2019, Vivienne co-founded Yoga Sisters Foundation, who provides yoga and meditation to all stages of motherhood and caregivers.
